This kind of music can only be made by people gathered together by the wind: 1000 Gram is made up of half-Swedish West-Berliner Moritz Lieberkühn (vocals, guitar), Finn Arne Braun (guitar), Austrian Paul Santner (bass), Swede Alexander Simm (guitar) and German Lukas Akintaya (drums). Although the indie-rock of the nineties prevails, their name could conceivably allude to the influence of a thousand Gram Parsons songs.
For 2019, 1000 Gram is receiving a grant in the amount of 5,000 euros, which they plan to use to work on their next album.
