DONBA₴GRL is a Ukrainian avant-pop artist based in Berlin. Her sound is characterised by deep bass and Ukrainian folklore. Originally from a small industrial mining town in eastern Ukraine, she has been living in Germany for 10 years and works together with the music producer Jakohitsdifferent. Her music is meant to give encouragement, send feminist messages, and push for self-actualisation.

DONBASGRL receives a grant of 5,000 euros in 2023. In the course of the grant DONBASGRL receives coaching from Jovanka von Wilsdorf.
