On 24 August 2024, silent green will open its doors for its annual summer party. As part of the tenant community, the Musicboard will be presenting a concert by Wooly Aziz in the Kuppelhalle at 5 p.m.
Wooly Aziz is a solo, progressive R&B/Soul/Left-Field project by Jannat Sohail from Pakistan, also listed in the Alternative Power 100 Music List (2020) for Resilience and Adaptability. Best described as soulful and transcending borders with their atmospheric compositions and lyrical storytelling, Wooly Aziz is composing stories of love, war, and migration – particularly in their newly conceptualized album ›Bluelight Moonlight‹. Aziz also delves into bass selections as their DJ alias AZIEZ, which began with the mentorship practice with Femme Bass Mafia in 2023.
There will be a varied programme with music, historical tours of the site, short films, face painting and handicrafts for kids, and open doors at the transmediale studio. In the Betonhalle, the exhibition Now Wave: Beth B – Glowing is on show. MARS I Kitchen & Bar will be providing summer drinks and all kind of treats.
